NDE-New Horizons Rip-off
Went for a job fair recently organised by New Horizons Computer Learning Center in partnership with National Directorate of emploment NDE with the theme being; ICT: Pathway to your dream job.
There were lotsa stuff promised such as full ICT taining scholarships and job placements, on the spot interview, certificate of attendance, e-learning dvd, iPad, Blackberries and Laptops to be won. They also added that "Admission is Free" These things made the whole thing sound mouth watering and people trooped in in hundreds. A man even came all the way from Ondo State.
But to everybody's chagrin, we realised that it's a bogus ploy to get a big turnout of desperate job seekers to swindle.
After some Less-than-educating nor entertaining, sleep inducing lectures, they pulled the 'rabbit' out of the bag, saying that just 25 people will be eligible for the scholarship and that you need to Join a freaking 'forum' with 5000 Naira before you can qualify for the raffle draw to win stuff or pay 1000 Naira to get just the DVD and certificate of attendance. It was then that it dawned on us that we were in for a Rip-off. I think the name of the company should instead be New Ho-RIP-zons. The final blow was dealt when the names of people that qualified for the aptitude test were called as it appeared they were preselected.
Everybody left giving a piece of their mind on the hoax.
What infuriated me the most was that I skipped breakfast to get there early and I starved throughout the whole thing.
Well, that's another lesson learnt and as the saying goes; "If you don't buy at all for the fear of buying fake, you'll never buy when the original is paraded" . PEACE

Analysis: Presidential election preview
GEJ owns the whole of South-East, most of South-South, he's going to share the South-West with ACN, CPC will also have it's bite. He's also going to share the North with CPC as he owns a large chunk of North-Central and North-East. You do the math. This looks more like a done deal to me
